Even though I told myself I wouldn’t, I took another HPT yesterday and today. I just couldn’t help myself….and had so many of the cheapies laying around I figured it would be more wasteful if I DIDN’T use them. My second line is definitely getting darker, so that put me at ease a little heading in for my third beta HCG blood draw this morning. I got my blood drawn at 8:00 am then met with my RE about 30 minutes later. The results of my blood test weren’t availableΒ yet so we really didn’t have anything to talk about. He said he would call me as soon as he received the results, and if they were still increasing he would schedule me for an ultrasound. And that was that!

beta scoresI finally got a call just a few minutes ago from a nurseΒ (feels like an eternity when you’re waiting for results) and my beta is 129, which puts my doubling time at 27.8 hours…so I am still VERY MUCH PREGNANT and things are moving along perfectly. In early pregnancy the HCG levels should double every 24-48 hours, so I’m right in there πŸ™‚ She said that my doctor was currently in surgery, but he plans to give me a call this afternoon to schedule my first ultrasound. I think at this point it’s actually starting to feel real, and I’m just so excited!!!!

  1. Yay! So happy for you! I was just looking at your post from last week when you thought your were out this cycle and it made me smile. You are proof that implantation can happen ANY time in that TWW! So thrilled for you and your little one! Praying all is perfect at your ultrasound!

      • πŸ™‚ Don’t worry about not having too many symptoms yet. It’s still so early. I mostly just felt light headed and tired for the first couple of weeks. The nausea and other symptoms didn’t kick in until around the 6 week mark.
